Krusell’s Sovereign Laptop Case

For the
longest time we have been asking Krusell to design a laptop case that
could really compete with today’s fashion minded individuals while
staying conservative for the business executives.
Just last week we received the new long awaited Sovereign case
that our team here embraced with a big Awe… I have to say that we
never dreamed it would look so nice…elegance at its finest, truly
impressive craftsmanship with every imaginable compartment and
unbeatable protection for today’s executive technology world.
So
let’s look closer at this nicely crafted case.
The
Sovereign arrived individually packaged in its own box and then was
nicely packed in a woven canvas bag to protect it in shipping…nice
plus.
We pulled
out the 4 lb Sovereign
case and four of us blurted out, wow, one of us in awe with a smile.
The
Napa
leather is crafted in a way that screams quality, expected, and
bearing the Krusell name, craftsmanship that you would expect to find
in the finest stores in
Beverly Hills
.
Looking at the outside first!
Pull down
leather straps to open the case that are made in such a way that keeps
the case from opening accidentally, nice feature for added security
and safety.
Signature
tagged with Krusell’s logo in the front, a black chrome button with
Krusell’s signature logo in white sliver.
Quality
rings on each side of the case to allow for the shoulder strap that of
coarse comes included, but there is more, Krusell has added their
Multidapt Shoulder-Strap Swivel, to allow the user to carry their
handheld device close by. See

A pocket
on the back of the case has also been provided that is nicely lined
thought-out and opens/closes with a magnetic snap.
I have to say that I really love the magnetic snaps.
It makes it so much easier to open and close without great
effort.
The
leather reinforced hand strap on the top is very nice.
Cushioned at the bottom for that extra plush feel, the strap is
firm and tight so that it stays in place for a quality feel for safety
(reinforced from edge to edge).
Small
rounded metal feet have been added to the bottom of the case for a
great stand. The leather
never touches the ground. No
need for balancing the case against a wall, your chair or desk, the
Sovereign stands proud and tall.
Looking at the inside
First
off, the interior is all fully lined and accented in rich double
stitched leather with three compartments.
Each compartment has either added zippered internal storage
sections or stationary and handheld device partitions.
Starting
from back to front the first compartment is (1 ½) inches wide (front
to back) by (14) inches in length (side to side) and 10 inches in
depth (top to bottom). The
backside of this compartment has a zippered storage area that is (7)
inches deep by (12) inches length (side to side), this storage area
could be good for files and extra documents.
Before we
get to the second compartment, it’s division, or what divides this
compartment from the first, is also a zippered storage area that
measures (10) inches in depth and (13) inches in length (side to
side). This is a great
storage area because it’s easily accessible and provides a safe
haven for documents that require that extra protection.
We are
now at storage area number two that we might want to consider to be
the LAPTOP compartment. This
area measures (2) inches wide (front to back) by (15) inches in length
(side to side) and 10 ½ inches in depth (top to bottom).
The
backside of this laptop compartment is equipped with several
stationary and device storage areas.
From left to right, a larger device pocket measuring (1/2) inch
wide (front to back) by (5) inches in length (side to side) by (4)
inches in depth (top to bottom) that
could be used for possibly a PDA, an iPod or any larger type of
device. Centered, we are
greeted by the (3) leather pen holders and to the right there’s
another pocket that could be used for your cellular phone that
measures, (1/2) inch wide (front to back) by (2 ½) inches in length
(side to side) by (4) inches in depth (top to bottom).
We are
now on our third and last compartment area.
This compartment is designed for more documents, files or
possibly some laptop accessories, it measures: (1) inch wide (front to
back) by (15) inches in length (side to side) and 8 ½ inches in depth
(top to bottom).
The
backside of this compartment area is equipped with (8) credit card
storage leather slots that are all double stitched and crafted very
nicely.
Overall, Krusell
is now in competition with this rich in design look for today’s
business executive. Quality and
craftsmanship that follows the brand, Sovereign!
